On Sunday, April 23rd, Barrington residents had their first community gathering in years. Melisa, Maretta, and Barb, along with our president Mike organized this inaugural event. It was the first opportunity that Barrington residents had to socialize over coffee and donuts. Approximately twenty families and their children and pets gathered to simply talk, interact and enjoy each other’s company. We introduce ourselves one to another and conversed about, well, almost anything. Many of us had not met each other. The hiatus caused by the COVID pandemic came between us and our desire to frequently get together. We hope to have these on a regular basis, giving everyone, especially newcomers, a time to meet, enjoying the spirit of light interaction that we all relish.
